Well, I couldn't believe the 3 animals cooperated by holding still, and the boat I was on was in calm seas, so in that aspect, I had help... However, what helps me most is something I read in one of the posts here (not sure if it's in this thread, though)...

After you line up your shot, let the camera auto focus... Then, DON'T push the optical pad button... Instead, push and HOLD on the screen where you want the camera to focus until it refocuses and takes the picture... It helps tremendously! If it doesn't start focusing and take the picture right away, try slowly rolling your finger up or down until it starts the process...

On Flickr, once you have your picture on the screen in your photostream, click on the "ALL SIZES" button, and choose the size you want. Then scroll down and it will show you a URL you can paste in the INSERT IMAGE button here on the forums...

Holy Efbeans... I just had a seizure trying to explain this to my wife... A LATTICE OF BACON????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Tears of joy are streaming down my face right now... I... I can't... No words...

Oh but it gets better... the meat in the middle is 1 lb of mild Italian sausage flavored with dry rub BBQ, then more crumbled bacon and Wet BBQ suace. I used Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ for the wet and Stubbs Spice Rub for the dry. Don't forget to season between the sausage and the Bacon... It all gets finsshed off with a high heat coating of Wet BBQ for the Win!

The lattice of bacon is actually easier to make then it looks. But I have to admit, though my wife admonished me for making it the whole day... she admited it was a horse race with... when she tasted it.

But let's be real... it was worth it!

Truth be told I could only eat 2 slices of it, and I had Salad for the next 3 days, but DAMM it was worth it!!

I e-mailed my Dad w/ realtime pics... he was bitter, my Mom would Never let him eat this.

Some early construction photos... Not as good (I may have had bacon grease on my fingers) but it gets the point across...

Finished product before cutting... My Mom said there was no Green on the the plate... I begged to differ, the edge of the plate it's Green!

When I post a photo here, it shows up as a small/medium sized pic. I use photobucket. What am I doing wrong? I want my pictures to show up larger!
any help? thanks!
