wait... did you JUST flash the EC09 modem? Or did you flash a complete EC09 ROM?

I haven't heard of anyone having SD card problems from just flashing the EC09 modem

Is there a trick to getting CWM to run a backup or does that just not work with the current version?

Also, does the tw_clock_infoalarm.zip patch work still? It keeps FC'ing on me.

It had to of been a full ROM flash, changing JUST the radio would have little to no impact on the SD card IMO.

complete Rom.

Try mounting the "fried" SD card in CWM and formatting in there. Some people have had success recovery cards this way vs. formatting in windows or in USB android formatting (system running format). Good luck.

So far I like this one the best. i just came from CM7 and the fact that the screen doe snot auto adjust when I go outside is enough for me to go to this. Not only that but the screen does not turn on when i pull the phone from my ear to punch in numbers.

anywho...the only thing I am not liking is the market. Is there anyway to get the stock market back?

I jumped onto this one from Froyo CommRom, and I really like this one. As others have mentioned, the battery life seems to be incredible!

The only (minor) complaint I have is that I no longer see an option under "development" to keep the phone awake while plugged in. Is there anywhere else this might be hidden, or a tool to enable it?

Is there any way to know that my SD card will be safe? How can I check? I don't have another micro SD so if it's gonna break my only one then I'll pass.

From what I can tell, there's no way to tell ahead of time; I just picked up a 2gig microSD for cheap, and used it during install; everything's working well so far.

Is this "SD Card" problem only during flashing or is it at risk at any given time?

Sorry for the dumb question, I'm new to this.

The risk is at any time. Seemed like when it was first being reported the common time frame was about a week after flashing the ROM. Now there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it happens. It is also now starting to happen on some of the AOSP GB roms (CM7, Vanilla GB)

Little worried, so what does comm rom and vanilla gb have in common to cause fried cards? Now that i just successfully got vanilla, i was thinking to switching to comm rom. Now im contemplating powerwashed. Should i just be cautious, i mean i will anyway for good measure, but specifically of any GB rom, or is there more to it than having gingerbread?
