Is there a YouTube that CLEARLY takes a newb from start to finish?

I am utterly new to the android world. I have a fascinate and want to do the supah clean DL09 thing.

I have Odin and have unzipped the proper file.

I clicked on PDA and found an unzipped file: CWMRecovery_DJO5_DL09.tar.md5

Not sure if this is the right file.

I clicked "start" and get this script in Odin:

<ID:0/006> Odin v.3 engine (ID:6)..
<ID:0/006> File analysis..
<ID:0/006> Enter CS for MD5..
<ID:0/006> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<ID:0/006> Please wait..
<ID:0/006> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<ID:0/006> Leave CS..
<ID:0/006> SetupConnection..

All that happened within seconds, so I'm sure I didn't do the right thing!

If a non-Mac user had a video showing a nice clear, assume-you-know-nothing video, that would be excellent!

Any youtubes?

If not, any good truly step by step instructions?

Reading is your friend. It would give you the information to understand that EB01 (2.2/froyo) is now out, and jumping up to DL09 is borderline pointless. If you wanna jump in go for it I guess LOL.
