Please Help a Newb!

Hi everyone,

I'm attempting to run Dirrk's EZ Root (1-click) and once connected and I run C:/FascinateRoot_v02 it says:

List of Devices Attached
*
*If you are NOT connected... etc.

I have the drivers installed (re-installed to be safe), debugging mode and the cable is fine, unmounted and remounted SD card, etc. Followed all of the basic suggestions listed.

I did mess with the Path earlier when I was following instructions for another method, and after realizing I had no idea what I was doing, I opted for the 1-click method.

Any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You should just try DroidXcon's all in one odin package... it's really easy to follow. Just go to this link and follow the step by step instructions. It will root your phone, and flash a ROM of your choice among the list, stock being one of them if you prefer that.

If this thraed was around when i started flashing, it would've saved me at least a few day's worth of reading through posts.

to get your phone to be recognized, put your phone in debugging mode, and while it is still plugged in , reboot your phone. wait a couple mins and it should connect,
