Rooting?

Hey everyone! I'm extremely new to my new phone the Samsung Fascinate and Android in general (just moved from BB). I was wondering if the easiest and best way to root my phone was to use the one click method posted by Dirrk? Also, Im wondering what can happen to my phone during this process... i heard of phones becoming bricked and other things but i don't understand what that means. will my phone becoming unusable after?

It's literally impossible for you to brick your phone unless you start overclocking or deleting files that you know you shouldn't be. The 1-click root is extremely safe and you will not brick it or even have to restore after using it.
