Possible screen problem?

As the title suggests, I'm kind of puzzled about the pixels in my screen when it dims like while in the clock app. Is it
Because of the range of colors on the screen that I have small sections of all black when using a very dark background ?My brightness is as far down as it goes to avoid any possible burns.

Have you ran any pixel test apps ? There are a few types available in the market.One of those is LCD test app.
Try using one of those pixel test apps and let us know the results of the test ,or post a screen shot of (volume button down + power button)

Ran LCD test app, all seemed fine. Sorry I ment to post a screenshot last night but I was using my phone and was on the full browser version. Sorry for darkness of the screenshot.
