You can download the update from Google servers. This is the official IMM76K 4.0.4 update with radios

FYI, someone on another site and found a phone with the update. The guys at the site showed talked him through pulling what they need. We will have the new radios tonight for download.

Edit: Rootz? They found the file I see--or at least what looks like the file. Good news indeed!

I guess that's? It patches from 4.0.2 obviously. It appears the CDMA radio is "whole" while the LTE one is a patch.

Isn't that cause for a lawsuit then? If a purchasable item is displayed as having some update, and said item is what you want to purchase, shouldn't that purchased item have the latest update then?

Come to think of it, we should probably sue McDonald's for serving hamburgers that don't actually contain anything even remotely related to Grade A beef.

You probably could. Heck lazy parents who feed their kids happy meals several times a day can sue them because their kids are fat.
Or if your ***** son jumps in the pool at sea world with a killer whale And dies you can threaten lawsuits because there were no signs warning it was dangerous to jump in and swim with them.

Radios acquired. YOU MUST FLASH 4.0.2 RADIOS BEFORE USING THESE. Then reboot after flashing the 4.0.2 radios, then back into recovery, FLASH THESE RADIOS, and good to go.

All the credit goes to a guy named Matt Devo on DL.

Yes. Also, DroidTh3ory, wizard of the Nexus, has a package out. PLEASE CHECK ZERO NECK'S RADIO THREAD (in the development subforum). I have flashed BOTH and BOTH work.

For the zip I attached, you MUST

(1) Have the 4.0.2 radios; if you're flashing them, you MUST reboot.
(2) After reboot, flash this package.
(3) Check about phone for FC##

Again, if you want DT's package, check zero neck's radio guide thread in the flashing/development/rom subforum.

Someone should buy a nexus now and see if they have 4.0.4 pre-installed.

No. I will be reverting to stock and setting up an official thread tomorrow.

Essentially, you need to be on STOCK ROOTED/UNLOCKED 4.0.2. So essentially, revert to stock, unlock/root, then flash that. You'll lose root unless you have an app like Rootkeeper.

Hope one of you guys can help me here. I'm new to messing with the Nexus, radios, etc.
I downloaded the file from Google's servers and placed it in the internal storage. I'm am stock 4.0.2 and rooted. Nothing unlocked.
Can I just boot into recovery and install from there? Will everything be erased?
