Default Can Google Now be ported to ICS

Just curious if this is one of those programs that could be ported over to run on stock ICS, or will it only ever be on JellyBean?
    thanx

It probably could but chances are devs wont want to spend the time when there are perfect jellybean Roms out there.

With enough work, perhaps, but my feeling is that Google Now has fairly deep integration with 4. Porting JB itself would likely be more beneficial.
Represent yourself well; you never know what might happen. And try out the new Android Central app!

    Softbricking be damned.

You'd probably have to be rooted to install it...and if that were the case, then why not just install an entire JB ROM?
