Stickmount and XenonHD 4.1.2

I am running XenonHD 4.1.2 with leankernel and have been unable to get stickmount to recognize my flash drive using an OTG cable. I'm thinking either my ROM and/or kernel aren't compatible with stickmount. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue? I'm going to try flashing Franco kernel to see if that solves it but I'm very happy with my current XenonHD ROM so I won't be experimenting with other ROMs for compatibility unless someone here knows for sure changing ROMs is the solution. Thank guys!
