Verizon G mail users

Did any/most of you update your gmail to allow for the ability to reply, delete, etc from notification bar? I was pumped and updated yesterday. Well, today the ability is no longer available in my notification bar, not sure why. I uninstalled and then installed to no avail. I did notice some note 2 owners in the comment section of the app state similar issues. Anyone experience this and find a resolution??

Mine seems to be working fine 99% of the time. However, I found the notification buttons for gmail didn't show up for a 1-2 emails today. Both were Facebook notification emails which was interesting.

When I had other notifications (non-ongoing that is) option disappeared. As soon as I cleared the other notifications option popped up.

I've found that if there are more than one email waiting, then the options don't show.
