7-9 ship date moved to 7-11, but no email recieved

anyone else showing this?
 
Yeah i got the same message.

I just hope it isn't because the name on my credit card isn't the same as the account owner's name.

I had preordered right on June 6th too. I called a verizon rep and he said some of the shipments were being delayed because of the weather and wildfires.
 
I didn't think much of everyone's analysis of 'preorder date' vs 'shipment & tracking number notification' but now I am getting mad.

I checked my status a minute ago and my ship by date has gone from 7-9 to 7-11.

If it means anything I preordered the morning of 6-12. I have read of people who ordered way after me getting phones shipped already. Or is a 16 GB Blue issue?

While the change to "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet." is encouraging, I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen yet?

I didn't receive anything about my payment not processing and I have plenty of money in there to cover the charge.
 
I would like to say that mine got pushed from 7/9 to 7/11 but it shipped on 7/5. I did preorder on the first day though.

Your order is on hold. Chance is that your credit was declined. This happened to me and I had to call my credit card company to make sure they approve the charge. Then I called Verizon CS to have them retry charging the card.

If you don't get this done, your order will hang there and you will not get your phone on time. Get this clear up and your phone should be on your way. GL.
 
I had this happen to me. There was some kind of problem with certain groups of orders. My 6/6 order was cancelled as was the 2nd one I placed on 6/13. When I got the error message on the 3rd I finally flipped and spent two hours on the phone with Verizon escalating the issue. They said it was some grouping issue that they were working through. My order cleared up this morning and shipped for a 7/9 delivery. They should have given me overnight delivery for the trouble but at least I'll have it before launch.

If you have the problem and raise hell tomorrow you may be able to get them to overnight it for delivery on Monday.

I am on hold with Verizon while they try and figure out what's going on. The rep seems to be as confused as I am, but hopefully they get the issue figured out.

It took 2 hours, but the rep called back. My phone is shipping today with a Monday delivery.

Blah blah, shipped in the order they are received, blah blah.

Anyway, she said that the Internet orders team is whom to speak to about this topic, maybe you can skip straight to them about any issues.
I did call really early, 6 am eastern, so she had to wait for the Internet orders team to get in.

And bam there's my payment confirmation from my bank. Kinda fishy, I suspect that my calling did something to kick start the process, but who knows.

I ordered on 6/23 & last night my order status changed to "ship by 6/12/2012". 2 days AFTER you can walk in off the street and buy it! I will definitely never pre order from Verizon again!
