What is this new lock screen?

Last night was first night phone shut down due to battery running out, and now I'm getting his weird lock screen before the pattern unlock screen. Anyone know why and what? I didn't change anything.

Doesn't look like a pattern lock screen. Drag the lock icon to the side of the screen.

You are correct. It is not a lock screen. When I slide the lot over the next screen is my pattern lock screen. The odd thing I just discovered is that it will search my contacts and music sort of like the old universal search that Got taken out.

It looks like the lock screen option in Accuweather Platinum. You can go into the Accuweather settings and turn off the lock screen option.

Thanks! That was it. I actually am starting to like it. I can hit the lock button and instantly search for contacts, which I do dozens of times every day. I might just keep it. Thanks again

Update- really liking the search function

Thank you. I had the same problem even though I've been running Accuweather for weeks. Something changed today but your solution fixed it.

The update to Accuweather Platinum just removed this lock screen completely. What the heck? I was just coming to depend on that instant contact search. That sucks.

Today this issue started occuring for me too. It is also switching to this in the middle of using and interacting with other applications.

I'm not using Accuweather Platinum, but the standard version is on my phone. There is no option for a Lock Screen in this version. Has anyone got any ideas on what is causing this?

Delete Accuweather and see if the problem goes away. I don't use Accuweather any more.
