Any new word on 4.2 or 4.3 update?

I keep hearing the S3 (verizon in my case) was getting an update this month to 4.2 or 4.3. Has anyone else been hearing or reading anything about this?

Just hear the usual...coming Oct-Nov, w/Big Red likely one of the last adopters. :'(

Yeah that is what I keep hearing also. Hopefully it will be a smoother update compared to the first MF1 update. What do you mean by Big Red likely one of the last adopters?

Probably we'll see the update by year end and the update will screw something up. And then Verizon will be in denial for about a month and then they'll start working on a fix.... so by February next year we should have an usable 4.3 update.

I am placing all bets that something will go wrong. I think this time I defer the update till I hear that everything is good.
