New icon in notification bar

Hey all -

I was chatting via bluetooth headset this morning on my way to work and noticed a new icon in my notification bar. I've used the same bluetooth headset for over a year now, and had a Rezound for almost that long, and this is the first I've ever seen it. Does anyone know what this new icon indicates or references?



FYI -

Phone is on 4.0.3, HTC Sense 3.6 and is not rooted

Not overly informative but kinda funny!

It looks like a big bluetooth headset but then, why also have the standard bluetooth icon as well? And if it is somehow for the headset, why does it not disappear when I turn bluetooth off completely? I used my headset last Friday and this was not there, but it is this morning, and I don't recall installing any applications on my phone over the weekend.

It's called HAC or Hearing Aid which increase in call volume. You can turn it off in your setting > call section
