New Gmail password won't sync on TB

My Gmail account was hacked last night and I changed my password accordingly. When I tried to sign in to Gmail on my TB, it said it was an incorrect password or user name. I tried to remove the account and re-add it, but it wouldn't let me. So I did a factory reset to see if there was a problem there...still can't access my Google Account or Gmail on my TB. I can access it on any other computer or mobile device, but of course not my TB. Any suggestions?
