I'm wondering what apps/processes can I do that really take advantage of the 4G speeds? I feel like I'm not using the Bolt to its full potential.

Something besides tether, video chat, and youtube.

It's all about the data speed. Faster internet speeds, streaming high resolution video, large file transfers, faster downloads/uploads, etc..

Does anyone else think it's lame that videos CANNOT be uploaded to YouTube via 4G?

It forces me to use a wifi connection. It's like buying a Porsche that can only be driven at 60mph!

I would appreciate you showing me how to upload w/o wifi. When I try it I get the message "Waiting for wifi". I dont see a setting to use my 4G connection.

Thanks!

It's because there is a max file size. I believe it's 30MB, but could be wrong. You can upload smaller sizes no problem.

That would make sense, except that all my files are under 30mb; perhaps the limit is lower?

Sorry to hijack the original post - I think that uploading video is where the biggest advantage comes in with a 4G vs. 3G connection. Video streaming has been pretty awesomely fast too!

It may be lower, like 10 or something. Maybe someone could verify? Or maybe I've lost my mind? lol

I can't imagine there would be some sort of limitation for uploading YouTube videos on 4g. That would suck, my wifi upload speeds are like 500kb
