How do I make my pictures in my gallery to my wallpaper without having to crop them?

If you stretch the selector square (one finger only, not pinch) on any of the sides, you can get the square to take up as much of the picture as possible with the proper width:height ratio. Is that what you meant?

That looks all ugly and jacked though. I have an image the size of the screen already, why do I need to select anything, it should just save it. They got it all f'd up there.

If it's the same size as the screen (960x854), then when you stretch the selection box, it will engulf the whole image and there will be no loss in resolution. It'll look right, I just did this half an hour ago.

I think the image size should be 960x800 to fit right.

EDIT: tarheel beat me to it but I think it should be 800 (not for sure tho).

I think you're right on the 800

Check out this post. It's all about aspect ratio, not specific pixels. Even 540x480 could work.
