Kit Kat NC2 available on Kies

I am downloading and updating right now. I'm on a custom ROM but am doing to go with this version anyway just to see what it is.

It's the NC2 Build, and that's the Kit Kat build we have been working with for a while in custom ROMs

Is nc2 or nc5 the newest build? I'm guessing 5 but u could be wrong. I'm trying to root my s4. I've got no idea where to start even after reading all of the guides. I'm not new to rooting either. I'm on NC5

Was 99% sure I saw 2... but now that you say that, I'm down to 98.9%

It's saying base is NC4 after the load. I was custom so I'm doing a factory reset now, but I'm pretty sure at this point we're looking baseline build of NC4
