Do I want this phone?

I currently am using a Galaxy Note 2. I was "gun-ho" on selling my phone, and picking up a S4 but after reading a lot of these threads I am losing hope.

I have someone that offered me $500 for my Note 2. I'm just wondering if spending the extra $150 is worth it to get the S4.

You can get a lot of opinions on this site. I have owned every Verizon smartphone. The Note 2 was the best in my opinion. Although not dramatically, the S4 is not as smooth ( which I believe will be fixed in software update) and the Note 2 has slightly better reception, I like the S4 better for the new features, slim as an iPhone 5, and the battery is second to best to the Note 2.

I just upgraded to the S4 after using an iPhone 4s the last 2 years and love it. I've disabled most of Samsung's apps and everything works fine.

I have used the note 2, iPhone 5 and now the S4. S4 is very solid. To me the screen size is perfect and it is just as fast or lag free as the note 2. Again that is my own personal opinion

That's what I'm looking for. I love the battery and speed of the note 2. The screen size is too much for me. I avoid using it in certain situations cause it's too big. Won't fit in some of my dress shorts and I can't hold it right when I'm driving to talk on the phone.

That was my issue as well and I have big hands. I get about 3:30 actual screen time which is plenty for me. That's with the screen brightness at or above 60%
