Turn in Phone for upgrade

So I am looking at a new plan and they want to move me from my current 2 year contract to a new share plan, but they said because I am on contract to do this I would have to trade in my phone to get the new plan . Question is do I need to trade in my current phone or can I activate one of my old phone and trade that one in?

Are you wanting to upgrade phones as well? If not you should simply be able to change plans. What plan are you on now, and what plan are you wanting to change to?

Yup. Make sure during the order process that it shows the imei of the correct device to turn in
