So I was messaging my friend and suddenly something horrible happened to my touchscreen. It stopped responding. I couldn't even properly hold the backspace key. To give you an idea what stopped, and how badly, I'll give you two touchscreen tests I devised out of my own hopelessness.
Line test: the goal is to draw a single line. Any gaps mean the screen is not reading my finger properly.
Dot test: the goal is to put my finger down and lift it, creating a dot. The bigger the speck, the bigger the problem...note the RIDICULOUS line in one of the pictures. I did not draw this; it drew itself.
(Yes, on some of these I was literally making the screen turn colors, so there was no chance I was pressing too gently. And no, my hands are not strangely dry or moist.)
