I've seen a couple threads like this but not quite exactly the same, so I decided to create on myself.
I have a Nexus 6P. I listen WhatsApp audios through the earpiece so I don't bother anyone around me. But I have a problem when a notification comes in, the audio starts playing through the speakers loudly until the notification sound ends and then goes back to the earpiece. I usually take the phone off my ear so the audio stops playing and then go back to listen to it until the next notification. This is obviously super frustrating.
At first, I thought it could be a manufacturing issue with my phone but my friend who has a Nexus 5X has the exact same problem.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
