A friend gave me a kindle fire HD. I'm pretty sure its a first gen, as when I was trying to figure out which one I youtubed Kindle Fire HD Gen 1 and Gen 2 and this looks like the Gen 1. Simple power button on bottom, with micro USB no other buttons says Kindle.
That said I was trying to remove cyanogenmod, so I booted into twrp, and cleared everything. I then rebooted, it wouldn't boot so I chose recovery and now it says kindle fire; kindle in white wording fire in orange wording and sits there forever.
Can anyone get me on track to getting this working and help me get a newer android OS on it please?
