Sounds about normal, however if you want to increase the battery life and decrease that Ambient display usage, here's a trick... Go into the gesture settings And turn off flip to shush mode. Then whenever your phone is on a flat surface, flip the phone over which will kick off the Ambient display and you can always flip the phone over again to check notifications quickly but doing this will turn off the Ambient display saving even more battery! So I took my phone off charge six hours ago and laid it down screen up and I have not used it at all in that time.
I wanted to see how much battery always on ambient display would use. 12% to be exact.
Do you guys think this would be normal usage?
I checked battery usage, even system processes and ambient display was the only thing that used the battery.
I'm on a 3xl, 10 beta 6 by the way.
