I'm done with Pixels!

Gemini you're not missing anything. It can't even dial a goddamn name. You say call do and do, it says it either doesn't understand or gives you some random web result. Basic tasks fail too. It's useless and in typical fashion they first made assistant useless, then removed it and replaced it with this inferior abomination.

The cameras are overhyped. They are good point and shoot but are legacy specs at the hardware level and rely heavily on image processing rather than raw performance.

The overall hardware is underwhelming, especially the SOC and it is overpriced. Both are premium range phones but regular phone is and should be priced as a mid-range phone. The a-Series which I personally find more appealing and problem free should come down a bit in price as a entry-level phone.

Google treats it's Pixel owners as guinea pigs. Furthermore while some find it exciting, the constant major UI overhauls make it difficult to recommend.

My anti-Pixel (a former Nexus/Pixel fan) advocating aside, I'm glad you found an alternative and can move on from the frustration. No phone is perfect but it sounds like you are headed on a new and hopefully enjoyable journey.
The only thing I like better about my Pixel 9 Pro XL over mu P6P is the camera zoom and screen brightness, everything else is meh. But what I find to be the worst part about Pixels, is every Update seems to **** up something new that was working fine.

That should be Google's official mission statement. It's nearly universally true if all their stuff.

Who knew I'd go from a Google lover to basher.
The last update made the Battery Strength indicator icon on the lock screen much harder to read, but the worst was the May update. That one "improved" Do Not Disturb and totally screwed up my notifications and other sounds, like new text alerts, the actual phone ringing and phone keyboard touch sounds. I got most fixed, but still have no Camera Shutter, screen taps, or sound alert when plugging/unplugging in the charger. Talking to Google Support on the phone was a JOKE. The rep spoke great English, but with an accent so thick it was almost impossible to understand. They opened a ticket, but never were able to figure how their Update screwed up my phone so bad.
