hello android central comunity,
I am trying to install android x86 version 4.3 on a mac mini with 512 MB RAM and 120 GB HDD. I have tested the OS with the live boot no-install option and it works fine on this hardware but when I go into the install menu at boot the computer does not respond to keystrokes of any kind. The same disc image I was able to install android x86 on an intel based HP laptop/notebook. But on the macmini which has an intel based processor as well I get a flashing cursor and when I press enter or arrow keys up/down or left/right to change the settings of the partition I am creating for android nothing happens.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
FYI I have tested the same scenario with a total of three keyboards all of which are recognized by the settings page in the live CD option none of which are recognized during installation but all are recognized by the hardware and the bios. for some reason the keyboard is connected powered on but not sending the signal of the keystroke to the OS namely the android installer.
