overview screen question

Is there a way to close all apps shown on the overview screen short of tapping the X one at a time without powering off and on? I have a Google Nexus 10 running ver 5.0.1

Scroll to the bottom of the list, there is a clear all button.

Hi Jason....there is no list or all clear button on my tablet. I tap the square at the bottom of the screen and get small windows for each app running with an X to close them one-by-one. How do you bring up the list with the button?

There isn't a way to do that in Lollipop. Aesthetics and OCD aside, there's no need to clear the recent apps switcher.
