Lollipop overheating Droid turbo and slow battery charge

My phone is overheating since I installed lollipop...Droid Turbo, 9 months old and barely charges if turned on, takes ours and hours. Any suggestions?

Welcome to AC.

Do a Cache Partition wipe, good practice after a system update.
For the bad charging, which may be coincidental and nothing more, first check that your USB lead is good, and that your USB port is clean and undamaged.

Call Motorola 1-800-734-5870 and they will replace your phone with a new Turbo KitKat phone. Motorola told me they have had so many complaints about lollipop they are replacing the phones. Lollipop SUCKS and has destroyed so many phones. I used to have a LG G3 that was an awesome phone before the update was forced down my throat. I just threw that phone in the trash. Lucky for me Motorola has allowed me to keep my phone at KitKat. You may get annoyed at having to say no to the update request but eventually it goes away. Hope this helps you. John
