Feature access

I assume there are 2 ways for Marshmallow to block an app from a feature, like the microphone.

1. App requests access and Marshmallow says no but does not actually block. The app can still access.

2. App requests but Marshmallow actually blocks access. No way around for app.

Does Marshmallow use one of these or is there a 3rd?

I have now. Thanks. Looks like Marshmallow is actively blocking access. Which is what an OS should do.
