After updating to Marshmallow the other day [huge mistake] my phone has been unbearably slow. I have a Note 4 on Rogers.

I have cleaned out as much junk as I could but my phone performs so slow. The biggest issue I am having is my text. It takes forever to open a conversation, then bringing up the keyboard, it lags like crazy and it is way behind when I try to message someone.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Seems my battery is draining quick with no apps open in the background. Does anyone have a temporary fix until they patch it?

    Hi Adam

Yes, there are numerous reports of issues after upgrading to MM. The following 2 options can be taken to fix them.

    1. Enter Recovery and Wipe Cache Partition. No Data Loss. If this helps, stop here don't proceed to step 2.

    2. FULL FACTORY RESET. I totally recommend this one. You will reset phone as new, with MM. Back up your important data before this step.
