My polaroid A40/marshmellow a "mess"

"wizard" never loaded. Machine recognizes my router and registers a signal (ie "strong" - but doesn't accept the "password" - which is the right one!

1.???How-to set-up the program to accept "wizard" is a good place to start.

2, or, how-to get it to accept my wi-fi password so I can get into the Polaroid A400. (I'm stuck in that window)

More specific: I did the following-

I GOT THIS FAR - SOMETIMES SHOWING THE ANDROID ON ITS SIDE WITH THE MESSAGE "No Instructions"

I never get to this screen ->, so I can't do the "wipe data/factory reset"
