I recently had to do a factory reset and since then, the Google app icon has gone missing (see image below + image in which the icon used to be). It is not the icon for Chrome, Drive or Gmail. It is the actual Google app icon.

Can anyone help me with a missing icon?-app.jpg

For what it is worth, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it hasn't made a difference. The icon is still missing.

Edit: I am using a Samsung Galaxy A5.

Can't you find it in your app drawer inside the Google, or Samsung, folder?

Thanks for the suggestion. I couldn't find it there, but I sorted the problem.

After more than a month? The next time he'll be here is when he has a problem and wants help. But you can install it from Google.
