S6 Edge LED no longer blinks after Nougat 7.0 Update

The Nougat 7.0 update really did wonders for the battery life of my Samsung galaxy s6 edge, but the problem im now running into is that my LED light no longer blinks when i receive texts or notifications form other apps. It only works now for emails.

I tried to go into settings but it seems that all notification settings, such as for the apps themselves as well as the "LED indicator" on the Display settings is on as well.

Any help is of course greatly appreciated!
