I came from a BB and loved the "capture it" screen shot app. This is my first Android phone. Is there a screen shot app for the Incredible? What other apps for Android are a "must have" thanks

Well my DI isn't going to be here until next week, but with playing around with my wifes Eris here is my starting list.

Twitter App - Twitdroid
Mail App - K-9
Podcast - MyPod --> Hope it works as good as it looks

That's my list for the time being. Or course one of the first stops will be the market to find some good free games!

Check HERE for the screenshot info.

Apps that I recommend:

1. Twitter - By Twitter (Official)
2. Facebook - By Facebook (Official)
3. Google Goggles - By Google (Official)
4. Gesture Search - By Google (Official)
5. Handcent SMS - IMO Best texting app. Prefered by most users.
6. Fourquare - By Foursquare
7. Apollo Task Killer - Apollo (More fuctions for free than Advanced Task Killer)
8. Google Voice - By Google (Official, and if you have Google Voice)
9. Robot View - Beta Stages very neat though.
10. Oregon Trail - Fun little game ha takes me back to elementary school.
11. Sobees - By Sobees (Twitter Client that is my 2nd in line pick for twitter. Easy to use if you have more than one account you can get both apps!)

Good luck.

It was simpler to invade Iraq. But it does work.

That there isn't just a one or two click app for this is just, well, bizarre.

There is, but you need root access in order to use it. ShootMe allows you to shake the phone for a screen shot. If you want to do it from the phone you need root access, if you want to do it without, you need the SDK. I have a rooted phone, and still use the SDK. You would need it anyway (most likely) to root the phone in the future, or to do anything you want really valuable (like remove bloatware you'll never use).
