Hello,

Is there a file wipe application, that can delete (wipe) files, or directories?

Thanks.

Theres something called one click or one touch cleaner. Cant vouch for how well they work but seem to have good reviews. But dont they all when you really read them :) Also AstroFile or one called AndroZip claims it can. I have used Astro and its got its limits, even paid for. The other doesnt sound as restrictive

I'm trying out 1-Click Clear, and ZDbox. I don't think they have individual file wipe, just system cleaner. ZDBox looks nice since in has lots of other utilities built in. I looked at Astro which I already have and there's no file wiper that i could find nor in Androzip. Opaqueware Ejumble file mngr that I already have does encrypt files, but when u encrypt it just plain deletes the original after encrypt.

Thanks

Yeah astro I was able to do some manually and looks the same for the other.1 click is supposed to be a dumbed down version of ccleaner. What all are u wanting to remove?

I get sensitive doc for example emailed to me thats zipped/passworded, I unzip it, work on it and rezip with password and send back. I don't know if this is possible maybe I'm paranoid, but the orig file is still there and if I delete it, then lose my phone it may still be recovered.

By the way ZDBox jammed my phone down to a crawl. I had to take it off.

Thanks.

If the file is encrypted well and you have a password, odds are it'll be fine. Why not hook the phone to a pc and put the files on a flash drive or something? Better yet just use a storage app or program and do it from the phone?. Nothing is 100% safe these days. They also make apps that will shut down and make your phone useless if lost or stolen. Unless "sensitive" means illegal or make you a target, I wouldnt worry. Rename it something else so it doesnt appear important. Hope u find what ya need
