Good find. That's very odd and wouldn't suspect it to be carrier installed. Way too specific of an app targeting a specific sport.

Anyway for the OP,
Use Shizuku and Ice Box or Hail to freeze the app (force disable). I think they can remove apps too but I don't advise that since this may be a system app. Freezing wont hurt anything.
