I recently switched from an AT&T HTC Status Cha Cha to an LG Phoenix (P505). One thing that I really liked about the Status (truthfully, probably the ONLY thing that I liked about the Status), was when I went to power it off, it would give me the option to turn the phone totally off, send it to airplane mode or to restart. With the Phoenix, I have to manually power it down & then wait a few seconds & manually power it back on. I was told that there was an app that would make the Phoenix perform the fast restart. I live in a very remote area of West Texas & cell service is iffy at best sometimes. Many times, in order to get service, one has to power their phone off & back on to pick up signal so the fast reboot is a really convenient thing for me. Any suggestions?
Also, even though I am a technology nerd, I am not looking to flash this & upload that in order to get this done. I just want to know if there is a quick, easy fix.
Thanks!
