Executive Assistant is a great app, and so far it's one of the few that I am going to pay for and keep using, I think.
But here are my issues with it, at the moment. Using Verizon S4, Android 4.2.2.
1. Lock screen "swipe" action is out of reach of my right thumb. Back button works to unlock, but it's prone to accidental unlocking. I'd like an alternate unlock swipe motion.
2. It doesn't display notifications other than the few things it knows how to display. It would be 100x better if it could also handle all other notifications, like from games.
3. It shows the Facebook news feed, not Facebook notifications. The former is useless to me, but the latter is priceless!
4. Sometimes on the lock screen, it takes a moment to appear, showing the default lock screen for a moment. Sometimes (rarely) it doesn't come up at all.
5. When I add widgets to the main screen, they can't be resized and they often crop the widget display. I tried putting a clock on there, for example, but it chopped off the sides of the widget.
6. I wish that I could customize the Summary tab but NOT get rid of the individual tab. For example, show me my Agenda for today and tomorrow in the Summary tab, but show me a full weekly view in the Calendar tab. Now, you can't show events in both. If you show them in Summary, there is no Calendar tab.
So, those may seem like a number of annoyances, but they aren't that bad. And they are pretty specific things, which means the app got most of the big stuff right. The default settings are reasonable and usable, and there are a lot of customization options. Very nice.
