I noticed I no longer see the Linked In app in the app store? Anyone know of a good LinkedIn app for Android?

I would love one too, but I don't know of any. Droidin was in the market, but apparently is completely disabled. That also didn't seem to have great reviews... So looks like were out of luck for now.

Yea... there are a few but most of them have horrible reviews. I would think a linkedIn app wouldn't be hard to pull off. Android needs to get, not necessarily better apps, but more complete apps.

There are so many good apps out there, but they do about 75% of the functionality requested. They need to start stepping up more standardized apps. Would it be up to LinkedIn to make an Android app?

Read this on a Linked ion Blog dated Sept 27th...

Hi Android fans. I already posted this on the more recent blog post about the release of the iPhone app (iPhone 3.2) but I wanted to make sure everyone on this thread got this info as well. I think the previous response I wrote on that thread should give you the necessary info so I will just copy and paste it.

“We hear you loud an clear. I also have an Android phone so I know where you are coming from. The most important thing for us is to make sure we put out a quality product and I think you will be pleasantly surprised when we do get it released.”

I hope this helps address some of the concerns that we aren’t listening about the Android app. It’s coming, we just want to make sure it gets done right (which is what is most important to us). Thanks for continuing to be patient.

    Hopefully coming soon!

Nice that is good news. Connectin was also released recently which has mixed reviews not a lot of features but can help with contact integration. Not exactly what Im looking for yet but just another one to consider for now.
