I was wondering if those of you who have been using Android on other devices have seen better performance with one over the other. I used both on my pre and always had better luck with slacker as far as stability. What im finding strange is now pandora works great with my epic but slacker only plays one song before freezing up. Any input would be great.

I downloaded Slacker, only to find it was just like Pandora, so I got rid of it. Pandora works flawless for me.

Slacker is better if you go on the website and customize it. I'm still on my 1free year of premium. It's sweet.

I removed slacker on my epic, however. While using bluetooth it will crash the OS causing it to reboot radio, stats, memory card, etc. The whole phone resets. It's really been bother me so I got rid of it. Also, it'll stop audio playback but continue to play within the app.

Pandora doesn't have as many issues with me on my phone. Pandora will sometimes reset the phone during bluetooth playback on close. I don't know what the issue is for now.

I prefer slacker for the custoimzation though.

My friend has Slacker on her BB and loves it, I guess I'm just fine with Pandora. I like all the stations I have set up on my account, etc.

slacker seems to have more music (different songs) for me...both will cut out if I set my Moto Cliq to save batteries (wifi shuts off after 30min)...too bad they can't override that setting.

Am I the only one using Last.fm? Better music than Slacker and Pandora and you don't have a limit on number of stations

A vote for slacker, I love the channels available from their forums that users share. The context channel is great as well.

Until another similar service offers caching, I vote for slacker. Caching is a huge advantage over Pandora or any other similar service.

Slacker worked terrible for me. Pandora works alot better. For some reason slacker would freeze in between each song which became very annoying.

I would rather use slacker myself but it freezes up to much. Is there any way to improve the connection with slacker or increase the buffer space.

I swear by Pandora... I listen to it every morning while getting ready for work and sometimes even on the way to work (by hooking it up to my car through my car radio phone hookup)...

Have used it ever since I fell in love with it on my 1st Gen iTouch!

Yeah I use both as well and find that they both perform great. Slacker has a more diverse music selection in my opinion and cache ability although the commercials do suck. Pandora is very straight forward and works consistently.

if you listen enough, pandora will start playing the same songs over and over, which will you drive you crazy. so i alternate between the 2 when I'm in the mood for shuffled music.
