Is anyone else having issues with Google sheets? Every time I try to open a sheet, it crashes. This is happening on my Note 2 as well as my Nexus 7. I have tried clearing the cache of various Google apps, but cannot find any mention of this issue anywhere I search.

Welcome to Android Central! Try Clear Data as well. You won't erase your Google Drive data, because that's intact in the cloud.

Yes! I've been experiencing this too! When first trying to load a sheet, it will crash a few times before finally working, only to randomly crash later... Happens both on my phone (One+ 1), and my Nexus 7 running 5.0.2.

same thing here... google sheets began crashing on 1.13.15 on my oneplus one, but only on certain spreadsheet files. I get the following error message "Sorry! The application Google Sheets has stopped unexpectedly. Please report this error to help us improve our product." I use google sheets a lot for work so this is particularly annoying. # force close stop crash quit hard stop

I have same problems with Sheets and Docs stored on my Drive. I'm using MotoX(2013) running 4.4.4. I recently did FDR to try to resolve. I've uninstalled apps, reinstalled. I've switched from ART to DALVIK. Nothing seems to help. I submit the crash reports all the time. My wife has DROID RAZR M running 4.4.2 and we share some Drive apps. Those that crash for me never crash for her on that RAZR M, or her iPad 2. Help!
With crickets from Google on this issue, at this point I'm only hopeful that Lollipop (whenever it finally arrives) will resolve this issue for my device, though I'm not sure that's an explainable expectation.

BUMP.

I get the same issue. It seems like the more data in the spreadsheet, the more likely it is to crash.
