I have .txt files on my phone that are 17-20 MB each and I'd like to search the text within. I just want to be able to simply open one of these files and use a Find feature to take me to the string if it exists. No regex needed, nothing fancy.
In terms of default apps: I tried the "HTML Viewer" (that seems to be the default suggested for opening text files on Pixel 7a) - doesn't have a find feature. I tried Chrome - crashes.
In terms of third-party apps, I tried FE File Explorer (which I use for FTP) - also crashes. I tried a few other third-party apps but they didn't work or didn't do what I wanted. Didn't see many apps in the app store that clearly advertised this feature. I realize not all suitable apps may appear high in search results.
Can anyone recommend one?
