Google calendar is not working properly after deletion of system calendar app..??

I am using samsung galaxy fame duos (s-6812). I was using google calendar app to show the contacts birthdays and it was working fine. When I rooted my phone and deleted my system calender app and s planner app, google calendar stopped syncing contact birthdays and shows message "No calendar selected to be synchronized". When I try to change setting and try to add "Event from Gmail" or I refresh it, phone hanged and it again rebooted. Please tell me how to make google calendar app independent of system calender app. Tell me if I need to download any other apk for this..??

Certain apps (like add on calendars) don't rewrite routines to do what is already done with standard Android components (like the stock calendar), since it is easier to use the underlying routines in the stock products.

My guess is that you need to get your stock calendar back, and bite the bullet on the little bit of storage it uses.
