What is this mysterious DOWNLOAD button in Message+ ?

Twice now while texting in Message+ a button labeled "download" appears briefly from the other person. I tried to do a screen save but the button activated then went away. The other person in the conversation didn't know anything about it and didn't see it. I searched for new files but found none.

Has anyone else seen this? Is it some feature of Message+ or should I be paranoid? I'm using a Samsung S5 running Android 5 Lollipop with Message+ 6.1.1. This happened while running Avast antivirus and also once while using AVG. Could it be some sort of virus that the antivirus program has successfully killed?

I was able to do a screen capture. This time, it appeared after a photo was delivered:

It would seem that the download button is how you would get a copy of the high-res picture, based on the shown picture being tagged as a thumbnail.

Thanks for the reply (many moons ago). That may be correct. The button disappears quickly.
Maybe it is available while the picture is being downloaded and goes away as soon as the entire file has transferred.
