Hey,

Every one knows when you want to access your photos/music or what not on your phone to your computer, you got to whip out the usb cable and plug in your computer.

Is there a way where I can access my files over wifi? I'm thinking of along the lines of flipping a "ON" switch via a widget and the computer sees the phone as two separate drives. (SD Card & Internal memory.) I don't need my computer to see my phone 24/7, just when needed.

Is there some thing like this you recommend?

Prefer free. Simply because it's not that hard to plug in a usb cable. (lol) But if you have a paid app in mind, please feel free to pass it along.

My phone is not rooted.

Thanks in advance.

If your only trying to access media or pics then you can try a DLNA type of service.
I have this on my PS3 and EPIC. I can share Video, audio and pictures.
I also know i can add a similar program to my computer and share them across the same LAN.
But it will not act as a complete file browser.

File Expert will give you access to your SD card files over wifi, using the browser or ftp. When you open the program, go to the bottom bar and tap Share. Then tap Web (or ftp). The program will then give you the IP address to enter in your browser, the user name and the password. Example:192.168.1.110:8080 - user name fe - password filexpert

Very simple to save the browser link as a bookmark to use again on your pc, if you reserve that IP in your router table for your phone.
