I am wondering whether GeekBench 2 (which is one of the best benchmark apps ever made) will work on ARMv8 processors. The reason for that is because I have heard that ARMv8 CPU cores are not 100% backwards compatible with the ARMv7 instruction set. GeekBench 2 has only armeabi, armeabi-v7a and x86 binaries. If anyone could test this app (available from some sites) on modern devices (s8/s7, HTC 10, etc...) and report back on the scores or any issues with running the app, that would mean alot to me.
