Need for a Lighting App...

So as a Lighting Designer I find myself knee deep in the controls side. And almost all our clients either own an iphone or itouch - several control manufacturers have lighting apps that can plug straight into the processor...

So as a Lighting Designer with a Droid and a boss that sports an iPhone...I need ammunition here. o_o anyone played around with any apps that would plug into the control systems? I haven't looked into it much, but we just went to lunch with the Lutron rep and it got me thinking... how would one go about writing an android app?

Android Developers has all you need to get set up and running, but it sounds like a difficult app to make if you're not a programmer or at least familiar with Java and xml basics.

yup, i'm sure i won't be the one to pull it off. but maybe in my free time i can brush up on my xml skills...but java...gonna need to do a crash course on youtube or something ^_^
