Multiple Facebook tabs open why?

If I'm not on the Facebook app, every time I click on a notification, it opens another Facebook tab. Why is that?

if the app itself opens 2 instances then you must to clear the cache, if the notification is from the browser then try to use the app's notification instead of the browser's notification system.
