How to turn off Facebook notification "You have a new friend suggestion"?

Hey all,

Several times a day I get this Facebook notification on my Note 8: You have a new friend suggestion (insert random person here). I tried turning everything off but it is still happening. When I go into notifications, everything is turned off. I have two Facebook accounts, and one of them never gets these alerts, while the second one does. When I tried to find an answer, it suggested turning off location, but this didn't work. Does anyone know how to stop these notifications?

I believe your predicaent is within Facebook itself. I managed to cut the cord some time back now so not sure if this is accuarte now. Under Setting in Facebook itself there used to be a sliding toggle to nullify those annoyances altogether. Now when you have synced you mobile to Facebook, it is going to get it's annoyances from FACEBOOK itself & your poor device is going to be left taking the brunt of your aggravation unfortunately.
