Now, if I'm correct about this, AirDroid is just to mirror your Android device on your computer. For messaging, you can just do messages for web. Just to simplify things up little bit.
No no no that's a good point. And I'm sure you're well aware of this, but you can use Google drive to wirelessly transfer everything over. then just download from Google drive locally onto your phone memory. I stopped using SD cards and airdroid type of applications years ago. At first, I loved the interface of air Droid but once I used messages for the web that took over!I use it primarily as an easy way to transfer files (music, in particular) from phone to PC or PC to phone.
I realize there are many options; I was just pointing out that the same app that works fine on Android P crashes on Q.
